I’m Chris. If you’re here, it’s because I think working together is a good idea. I have seven years of experience in marketing under my belt, and I’m looking to move on to something new.

Here are the things you need to know about me:

I work hard, and take ownership of what I’m presented with.

If I don't know how to solve a problem, I will get on the phone and call people who do until I know everything they know.

I've never said "that's not my job" in my life. I believe in getting things done, not justifying my paycheck.

Experience

Marketing Content Manager. M3 Financial. New York, New York.

December 2013 - February 2018

As the name suggests, I determined the content of our marketing campaigns, ranging from digital to email and call campaigns to new clients. This included managing automation, ensuring sales reps hit outbound call quotas, and working to create branded materials for distribution in the field.

I also spearheaded the launch of our company "rate engine," which compiled all product info from all our vendors in an easily accessible module, as well as the launch and maintenance of the company blog, both of which significantly increased website traffic and inbound calls.

Operations Manager. M3 Financial. Glastonbury, CT.

September 2010 - December 2013

I oversaw the intake of new business and processing of applications by our operations team, as well as trained sales and ops staff in documentation and followup procedures for all ongoing business. Any elevated service issues also fell under my purview.

Our issue rate for new business hovered at a steady 97%, well above industry average.

Copywriter/Editor. Freelance.

February 2014 - Present

I've periodically taken on writing assignments independently - these have primarily been related to my field of expertise, but have ranged from press releases for a tattoo magazine to marketing materials for a long term care insurance carrier. I can quickly turn research on a new topic into usable content for a wide range of purposes.
